Community Science Volunteer Opportunity - October
Join Solano Land Trust for October’s Free-the-Tree Community Science volunteer opportunity! Participants will work on removing cages from a prior restoration project at King-Swett Ranch. Solano Land Trust will provide gloves and have extra water but bring your own gloves if you prefer. Be sure to dress in layers and bring sunscreen, water, and knee pads if you use them for gardening.
No experience is necessary – training will be provided.
Meeting Location: Exit Marshview road off of 680S. Turn right off exit and right onto Lopes Road.
Participants will need to drive past the partially demolished road barricade on Lopes Road at Marshview. Gate will be on the left hand side.
Participants will need to know the gate will be closed behind them, and they must stay for the duration of the activity until the docents reopen the gate after the activity. Please arrange to use the restroom prior to arriving to the location.
