Solano Land Trust partnered with The Healthy Forest Alliance to host a chainsaw class at Wilcox Ranch. The Healthy Forest Alliance promotes the safe use of prescribed fire through training, education, public outreach, working directly with homeowners to maintain defensible space, and hosting prescribed burns throughout the state.
In October, Solano Land Trust project managers set about surveying viable water restoration sites at our recently acquired Lynch Canyon expansion property.
On October 16, 2025, the Solano Land Trust Lands Team assisted with the release of 99 adult California red-legged frogs at a pond on Solano Land Trust land in the Cordelia Hills.
