Community Science Volunteer Opportunity – Harmonia Monitoring: Harmonia nutans (Nodding Harmonia) is only found in two locations in Solano County. Join Solano Land Trust staff in their annual count to monitor this special species. Harmonia nutans is a short flower, so counting it involves bending and/or kneeling. If you use a knee pad for gardening, feel free to bring it. Participants will meet at the main parking lot and caravan to the West Gate.

A moderately difficult hike will take the group to the Harmonia site. No experience identifying these plants is necessary, training will be provided. The area is full sun, so water, sunscreen, and layers are recommended. Please note, this outing may be postponed if the season does not progress as anticipated.
