In this time of constant adaptation and change, we are excited to announce our annual Sunday Supper fundraiser will be going virtual this year.
Join us on October 25th to raise your paddles online and continue your lasting commitment to land conservation in your community.
The evening will be filled with uplifting stories, surprise project updates, silent and live auctions, special guests, and a new and improved version of our “Put a child on the land” fundraiser.
We invite you to dine-in in the comfort of your own home and to support your local community at the following Solano County restaurants.
Online Event Details
October 21st – 23rd – Online Dessert Auction – Bid on classic homemade treats from staff, board members, and the land trust community. Then get them delivered to your door on Sunday!
October 19th – 25th – Silent Auction Items go on sale without an auctioneer. It’s easy and convenient to do using OneCause software.
October 25th – Live Auction event hosted by Solano Land Trust – Our beloved auctioneer Joe Gates guides guests through a program of one-of-a-kind auction items, videos, and celebrations.
Unfortunately, Covid-19 isn't the only reason for going online. Like many other properties, Joyful Ranch, the site of our previous Sunday Supper events, was not spared by the LNU Lightning Complex Fire. The house remains intact but the beautiful barn, multiple outbuildings, and the rustic-modern restrooms were destroyed.
Our Executive Director, Nicole Braddock, and our board of Directors are honored to announce Solano Land Trust will donate 50% of the proceeds raised at auction to the Joyful Ranch Foundation to help them rebuild and move forward.
Joyful Ranch has been in owner Ethel Hoskins' family since 1850. It now operates as a non-profit with a mission to educate and inspire the public about Pleasants Valley, and to provide a setting for spiritual renewal.
