It’s easy to make a one-time gift, or join our other monthly donors to become a Preservation Partner. Your monthly donations provide dependable funding to protect land and provide long-term care on the lands we know and love. Being a Preservation Partner is budget-friendly, convenient, flexible and efficient.
Making Gifts of Stock
Transferring shares of stock is an easy option for giving generously while maintaining your cash on hand. Consult your tax advisor for tax-deduction information and timing of your gift. To transfer shares, please give your broker the following information:

Prior to transferring shares, please notify Nicole Braddock at nicole@solanolandtrust.org or 707-330-1275 and indicate your name, the name of company and stock ticker symbol, and the number of shares being donated. Once the stocks are sold, we will provide you with a letter stating the actual value for tax-deduction purposes.

Each year we host fundraising events and rely on our corporate partners to help make these events even more successful. When you sponsor at the $1,000 (cash or in-kind value) or more, you become a Business Partner in Conservation. Planned Giving
Solano Land Trust established a Legacy League to acknowledge those who have included the land trust in their estate plans. Planned giving allows you to support our work while providing certain financial benefits to you. This offers you a variety of ways to help Solano Land Trust provide permanent protection and stewardship to our natural parks and agricultural land. Combine the satisfaction of providing lasting conservation of these lands with the potential tax benefits of a planned gift. If you are interested in joining the Legacy League, there are many options, to include:
• A Charitable Remainder Trust
• Life Insurance
• Remainder interest in a farm, ranch, or other residence
• Bequests
